We have two weeks left to August and America is up to it’s neck in controversy and scandal, first with the presidential candidates (Clinton and Trump) and secondly with the constant killing and imprisoning of Black protestors and citizens and the nonexistent aftermath of Jade Helm. It seems that the media in our country churn negative stories and often the horrifying side of our society. It ignores, usually, the successes of the community and choses to focus on the trials and tribulations of the rich.

The general sentiment among conspiracy theorists is that Jade Helm is the military’s attempt to. An exercise to prepare them for the breakdown of society in the aftermath of a giant. The takedown of a power substation will eventually have the effect of an EMP attack without the devastating aftermath. It is certainly an effective means for the authorities to eliminate all dissent and resistance and believe it or not, that possibility of part of the Jade Helm 15 drill. Training exercises like Jade Helm are clearly designed to be dual purpose in nature, both for overseas combat and for the potential that martial law may be declared domestically in the aftermath of a massive economic collapse of other national emergency.

According to a plethora of alternative media sources, Operation Jade Helm is one of the largest peacetime military exercises the United States has ever conducted on U.S. soil. Beginning on July 15 and extending until September 15, 2015, the U.S. military will be conducting a massive drill involving 9 states.

In a recent statement to the Washington Post, Army Lt. Col. Mark Lastoria said,“The nature of warfare is always changing and U.S. Army Special Operations Command’s mission is to make certain the Army’s various Special Operations Forces are trained, equipped and organized to successfully conduct worldwide special operations in support of our nation’s interests.”
Many citizens in the United States are not happy about this military drill and believe that Jade Helm is not an exercise but rather a preplanned mission that will be used to usher in a state of martial law across America. The fear is very real for many people and the conspiracy theories are running wild at this point in time.
The recent closings of a number of Walmart stores in states where Jade Helm will take place have caused even more concern for some people. Some believe that the large stores will be used as processing centers for captured citizens or for food distribution facilities. Some of the websites that are reporting foul play concerning Jade Helm have written about how Americans will be rounded up and relocated to internment camps. Some have stated that the two words Jade and Helm are acronyms for: “JOINT ASSISTANT for DEPLOYMENT and EXECUTION,” and “HOMELAND ERADICATION OF LOCAL MILITANTS.”
As the author of this article, I am not making a judgment one way or another about what Jade Helm really represents to Americans. I thought the story was worth reporting to readers of this website.
